Rockin the senior session

Hailey was so fun to photograph and she rocked this senior session.  Here is a sneak preview from our recent session.

Seniors Seniors Seniors

Calling all senior girls!  If you are graduating in 2013 and need senior pictures, now is the time to book your appointment for Spring.  If you are a junior and graduating in 2014 it's never too early to start thinking about your session!  I have teamed up with a Bobby Brown make up artist for your photo session.  I am giving away 2 free make-up appointments so be sure and ask about the details.

A ball of energy

This little cutie pie, Miss C is almost 2 and a ball of energy.  I chased her all over the place and I think this is one of the few pictures we have of her actually sitting down!  I just love her bright pink bow and spring dress.

Just the girls

Wow, one more sneak peak from my sessions last week, can you just say cutie pies.  First of all the mom is just gorgeous and don't you want to eat up those beautiful baby girls.  This was such a fun session and the girls were great participants!  I loved this one of the three of them, sometimes you just nail a picture in camera and need very little editing or processing (which was the case here).  Wish all my images were like that.  Anyway just had to share this one and can't wait to process the rest of the session.

Beautiful Blue Eyes

As I said in my previous post, I was super busy upon returning from our spring break vacation.  Here is another sneak peak from a senior session.  Beautiful Miss A brought her prom dress as one of her outfits and I am so glad she did.  She had a beautiful blue dress to match her beautiful blue eyes, just love those catch lights!  This session was two fold; a family session first with mom, dad, and her two sisters; then onto her senior session.  I am sure she was tired by the end but we got some awesome photographs.  Here is one I wanted to share with those gorgeous blue eyes.

It's Spring in Texas

Last week was crazy and fun all rolled into one.  We started spring break week by driving to El Paso - (just the kids and I). Ten hours in the car with miles of highway and nothing in between except a few west Texas towns.  One great thing is you can crank it up to 80 mph for a good stretch of the way.  The kids were great (we have tons of expensive electronics to keep them occupied) and we saw my family.  It was so much fun to visit my sister and her family (one minor trip to the ER for a "tongue owee).  Her kids are adorable and there is never a dull moment.  We spent an entire day baking and cooking traditional Lebanese food at my mom's.  All the yummy stuff I grew up eating and it's always so satisfying, especially when you go months without it.  I learned to bake baklava finally and my kids must have eaten 10-12 pieces each (good thing I won't be making it that often).  When I returned home I was blessed with several photo sessions and we had some awesome weather to go along with it.

Here is an image I wanted to share from one of my sessions; it was a senior session shot in downtown McKinney (we ran into several other photographers there as well).  It's such a popular place but very unique, eclectic and very urban.

Miss A was a trooper and so were her parents (dad even came along to carry all the stuff).  We had a few outfit changes, which is always fun with senior sessions and this was one of the last images we took.  I love how it has a soft vintage look to it and goes so perfect with what she is wearing.  I can't wait to process the rest of the session.  But for now I will share this one.

Subway Art

I have seen this type of art all over the place lately and I was so inspired to make a canvas for my son's room using Subway Art.  He plays hockey so it just seemed appropriate.  I love the way it turned out and will be offering to sell customized versions of these.  This canvas is going to be printed on a 20x30 but they can range in all shapes and sizes.  My next project is my daughter's room!
